Saint-Gervais-les-Bains
Our apartment in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains was the perfect location for the Tour de France.

Chamonix, the home to Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe.
Tour de France
Stage 15 of the 2023 Tour de France ended in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.
Zermatt
Zermatt is famous for the iconic Matterhorn at 4,478m.

We have arrived in our 19th country – Switzerland.
Aletsch Glacier
The Aletsch Glacier is the largest glacier in the Alps – about 23 km in length.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen
During our time in the German Bavarian Alps, we stayed in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

With only 1 day to explore Vienna, we headed straight into the city center.
F1 Austria Grand Prix
We had tickets booked for the Friday of the F1 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring.

We left Budapest this morning for a quick stop in Bratislava, Slovakia.

After breakfast in Belgrade, we drove to Budapest.

Belgrade is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe.

Sarajevo, is a small city on the Miljacka River in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Kotor is a coastal town located in Montenegro.
Dubrovnik
It was another 3 hours drive to the beautiful Dubrovnik.

Split is the second-largest city of Croatia.
Plitvice Lakes
We are staying just outside of the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Zagreb
Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, is one of the oldest cities in Central Europe.
Ljubljana
Our Airbnb was in Stahovica, a small town just outside of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Italian Alps – The Dolomites
We spent the night in a very small town, Grauno, in the Italian Alps.
Scaliger Castle
From Verona, we made a stop at the Scaliger Castle.
Verona
We left the small town, Cesena, this morning and stopped in Verona for lunch.
San Marino
San Marino, a micro-state surrounded by Italy, definitely worth exploring.
Rome
The ancient city of Rome – filled with history and culture.
Amalfi Coast
Our next destination is a tiny town, Santa Lucia di Cava, near Salerno on the Amalfi Coast.
Florence
After the quick stop at Vinci, we drove to the beautiful Florence.
Vinci
Our Airbnb hosts told us about a little town, Vinci – about 20 minutes away.
Tuscany
We are staying in Castlelfiorentino overlooking the beautiful Tuscan hills.
Pisa
On the way to Tuscany, we stopped to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Venice
We are staying in Mira – about 30km from Venice.
Monaco
We left Nice this morning and made a quick stop in Monaco.
Nice
After the stop in Saint Tropez on the way, we arrived in Nice late afternoon again.
Saint Tropez
Cruising along the south coast of France, we stopped in the famous Saint Tropez.
Marseilles
Our short visit in Spain came to an end and we arrived back in France late in the afternoon.

Back to France – the South of France this time.
Barcelona
We headed into Barcelona this morning, but we couldn’t get tickets to go into the La Sagrada Familia.

We arrived in Spain yesterday and are staying in Blanes

On the way to Spain, we drove through Andorra.
Bordeaux
After about 6 hours drive from Paris, we arrived at our Airbnb in Cavignac.
Paris
The Eurostar journey from London only took 2.5 hours and we arrived at Paris Gare du Nord station around 2.00pm.
London
Our flight from Dubai arrived at London Heathrow around 4.00pm and our friend, Travers, was there to pick us up.
First Stop: Dubai
We left Perth Airport at 10.20pm on Thursday, 11th May 2023 and after 11 hours, we arrived in Dubai at 05.00am.

An idea to travel to Europe with the kids turned into an amazing road trip through 23 countries.
